Come see our new display of photos of famous golfer, Bobby Jones. On March 17, 2010, at noon and again at 4 pm, Lee will be watching the movie "Stroke of Genius" and invites anyone interested to come enjoy the biographical film about this great winner of the Grand Slam and creator (with Clifford Roberts) of Augusta National Golf Course and the fabulous Masters Tournament. We will be in the clubhouse and there is no charge to view the movie.

Gift certificates continue to be available. Memberships, rounds of golf, a month of cart fees and merchandise make great presents for those you care about. Golf is also a great gift for business contacts. See Diane or Ginger in the Clubhouse.

The Eagles Nest (clubhouse) has been the site of a variety of events recently, including weddings, receptions, family reunions, and other parties. The facility can be rented for parties. Click here for information. Ginger, Rocky's wife, does a great job decorating for events.

All rounds purchases are made in the clubhouse unless there is a private event scheduled for the facility. On those occasions, the Pro Shop is open.

LOTS OF RAIN THIS FALL |
All of Ellis County has been inundated by moisture during the fall of 2009. With the grounds wet, many holes could not be played. However, our golfers replayed dry areas to make their 9- or 18-hole round.
We are researching how we can better control water on the course, especially from the overrun of Grove Creek. The positive is the water fills our ponds, which gives us resources for the hot months with no moisture.
